Pascagoula, MS – The Aust Group is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of their client, Southern Pest Control, Inc. to Rentokil.
Southern Pest Control was founded in 1976 by Marvin Hicks, servicing the local Pascagoula, Mississippi community. After 26 years as an employee of the business, Karen Gregory became the owner of Southern Pest Control in 2007. Under Karen’s leadership, the Company expanded their footprint throughout southern Mississippi and the Alabama Gulf Coast. Karen has received numerous accolades for her contributions to the industry and is the current President of the Mississippi Pest Control Association (MPCA). Southern Pest Control has been in business for over 40 years and has become one of the premier pest control operations in the Greater Gulf Coast area.

The Aust Group represented Southern Pest Control as the exclusive financial advisor on the transaction. The transaction closed on July 19th, 2021, and the terms of this transaction were not disclosed.
