ABC Exterminating Inc. was founded in 1983 by Emmett Lee Sr. as a full-service pest and termite control business. One year after inception, Emmett Lee Jr. joined the family business full time and became the owner of ABC in 2016. Since then, Emmett Lee Jr. grew ABC Exterminating Inc. into one of the premier pest control companies in Fairfield County and expanded the Company’s service area into New York. Emmett Lee Jr. attributed their success to valuing each customer and focusing on 100% customer satisfaction. ABC Exterminating Inc. has participated in various trade associations such as National Pest Management Association (NPMA), Connecticut Pest Control Association (CPCA), and New York Pest Management Association (NYPMA) and was featured as part of the Sentricon^® Deader Than Dead Tour.

Pascagoula, MS – The Aust Group is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of their client, Southern Pest Control, Inc. to Rentokil.

Southern Pest Control was founded in 1976 by Marvin Hicks, servicing the local Pascagoula, Mississippi community. After 26 years as an employee of the business, Karen Gregory became the owner of Southern Pest Control in 2007. Under Karen’s leadership, the Company expanded their footprint throughout southern Mississippi and the Alabama Gulf Coast. Karen has received numerous accolades for her contributions to the industry and is the current President of the Mississippi Pest Control Association (MPCA). Southern Pest Control has been in business for over 40 years and has become one of the premier pest control operations in the Greater Gulf Coast area.

North Versailles, Pennsylvania – The Aust Group is pleased to announce the most recent acquisition of their client, Hall’s Pest Control, Inc. to Plunkett’s Pest Control.

In 1995, Dana Hall, Owner/President, formed Hall’s Pest Control based in North Versailles, PA with only six accounts. Hall’s Pest Control was active members of both NPMA and PPMA and implemented the industry’s best practices into their business. After over 25 years in business, those six accounts grew into a footprint consisting of the greater Pittsburgh area and southwest Pennsylvania, providing quality and dependable pest control services to residential and commercial clients. In honor of Dana’s story, Stacy O’Reilly, the owner of Plunkett’s presented Dana with a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey with the number 6 on back to represent those first six customers.

Acton, California – The Aust Group is pleased to announce the most recent acquisition of their client, Geyer’s Pest Control Services LLC to Certus Pest, Inc.

Geyer’s Pest Control Services LLC, a pest control business based out of Acton, CA, was founded by Mark Geyer in 1999. Mark has been involved in the pest control industry for over 40 years, having started in the space as a service technician in 1980. Geyer’s provides pest and gopher control services to customers throughout the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley. Mark and his staff are excited to join the Certus team and help add density to Certus’ existing footprint in the Greater Los Angeles area.

In 1980, Jim Murphy, President/CEO, formed Tri-County Pest Control based in Aston, PA. Jim started in the pest control industry at 16 years old, working for a local, family-owned pest control firm prior to starting Tri-County. After over 40 years in business, Tri-County is extremely proud to provide residential and commercial services to clients throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Tri-County was recognized in 2020 as a Quality Pro business through National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and Jim currently serves as the Governor of the Eastern Region for Pennsylvania Pest Management Association (PPMA).
